Job Description: > To manage the development of the western restaurant channel in Shanghai. > To continuously assess business opportunities in the area for core brands including trends, market share, distribution expansion, new outlets and promotion activities, mainly focus on Chandon sparkling wine, and the Estates & Wines Portfolio. > To make recommendation to the line manager regarding business plan, trend and selling strategy in the area. > To ensure excellent relationship with trade customers in the area. > To lead the team to achieve the agreed objectives. Formulate and implement approved action plans, monitor the progress against the agreed sales targets. Set aggressive but achievable individual monthly objectives to both wholesaler and filed force. > To monitor sales performance, marketing activities & market trends and feedback to manager/central office. Maintain an effective and efficient field information system and provide rapid feedback to the line manager. Monitor the retail pricing in each outlet. Monitor competitors' activities including pricing and promotion activities with timely reports submitted to the line manager. Ensure the merchandising activities, distribution and stock level are in line with business objectives. Evaluate the financial status of the customers when necessary. > To manage, evaluate and improve the effectiveness and productivity of the sales team. Seek ways to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiencies in the area. To coach field staff. > To manage the wholesalers efficiently and monitor the route to supply.
Profile : > University graduate in Business/Marketing or related disciplines. > Good Chinese & English (preferred) communication skills. > 7 years commercial background OR business development role related to F&B industry. > Supervisory and management experience with multinational FMCG company. > Good understanding of marketing and finance. > Knowledge of imported wines and spirits. > Full understanding of modern selling and training techniques Skills. > Good negotiation skills. > High level of personal selling skill. > Good planning skill. > Good presentation skill. > Well organized with good analytical skills. > Good understanding of people management.
