The Merchandising Manager will support General Merchandinsg Manager to develop the Women RTW&Shoes product merchandising strategy of CELINE in China, which includes buying & store total assortment's coordination, market survey & commercial follow up, ensuring a complete balance between fully representing the brand and maximising commercial opportunities.


Responsibilities & key activities

-To study and define the product mix according to the specificity of each city/store
-To participate and assist in the preparation of OTB
-To participate and assist the Managing Director/Store Managers in seasonal buying session
-To ensure the right merchandise is purchased for each city in the right quantity, covered
-Ensuring brand representation is fully exposure as well as allc ommercial opportunities
-To distribute product information and order details to individual stores after each buying
-To prepare merchandise book for each season
-To initiate and co-ordinate with Inventory Control department on re-ordering and transfers of merchandise

Merchandising, Training & Display
-To propose remerchandising of store during new product launch and season end sale
-To identify training needs and prepare training materials on products
-To review and discuss with Managing Director & VM Department on guidelines to visual merchandising and store on display according to Paris guidelines/new product launch schedule/advertising & promotion program/image/sales and stock level

Commercial Follow-up
-To prepare weekly, monthly reports on product comments
-To review sales and sell-through analyses and propose weekly action plans if necessary
-To coordinate with HQ on the development of quality and after sales services
-Closely follow up Competitors assortment, collections and market trend
-To conduct market research on customer behaviour, market trend, competitors' price and product offer
-Deeply analyze collection vs. market demand and asses potential product needs.



-Bachelor degree or above
-Knowledge of fashion and luxurious products, 6 years buying / merchandising experience preferred
-Strong analytical ability both quantitative and qualitative, good PC literacy, good interpersonal and communication skill
-Good command of English and Mandarin
-Pleasant, Self-motivated, Proactive, Result-oriented, Good Team Player
