Marco Gobbetti appointed President and CEO of Givenchy Couture

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world’s leading luxury products Group, today announces the appointment of Marco Gobbetti as President and CEO of Givenchy Couture. Marco Gobbetti will succeed Marianne Tesler, who has headed Givenchy Couture since August 1999. After reorganizing the company, Ms. Tesler has decided to pursue other career interests. Bernard Arnault said, “We are delighted to welcome Marco Gobbetti to Givenchy Couture. His international experience in fashion and leather goods, acquired in nearly 20 years with several prestigious brands, including Moschino most recently, will be a key asset to the second stage of the development of Givenchy. This appointment reflects the strategic importance of the prestigious Givenchy brand for the LVMH Group.” Mr. Arnault added: “We are very grateful to Marianne Tesler for her contribution to the first stage of the reorganization of Givenchy, which has laid the foundations for the future development of the brand.”
