Mr Nicolas Beytout is appointed Chaiman of D.I Group

LVMH announces the appointment of Mr Nicolas Beytout as Chairman of D.I Group from Monday 26 November. Mr Beytout will be nominated Chairman of Les Echos in due course. He succeeds Mr Alain Metternich who will be appointed advisor to the Chairman until summer 2008. On Monday 5 November, D.I Group signed an agreement to buy Les Echos from Pearson. Furthermore, D.I Group is currently in exclusive negotiations with Mr Alain Weill regarding the sale of La Tribune. D.I Group is LVMH’s media division. Its operations include the following financial and cultural publications as well as its daily financial newspaper: Investir, the leading personal investing magazine in France; Radio Classique, which has recorded the strongest growth in audience figures amongst its competitors in the last 18 months; the leading monthly publication Connaissance des Arts; Le Monde de la Musique, the Arléa publishing house, le Salon des entrepreneurs as well as the SID publications.
