Mission & Responsibilities

To lead the Area Manager and Education team to deliver retail excellence, enhanced productivity, rankings and brand image ultimately leading to the achievement of retail sales across the distribution.
To drive the launch and success of Acqua di Parma London boutique.
As Head of the Retail Team, the key responsibilities are:

Strategic direction
Define and deliver the retail vision and strategy, in close collaboration with the Regional Director and Head of Sales outlining the
ambitions to improve sales, profitability and brand image, and the initiatives needed to achieve those ambitions.
Ensure annual planning and implementation of agreed strategy.

Retail Leadership
Develop UK&Eire retail strategy by making the Global Brand Strategy locally relevant to drive the business
Build a clienteling and direct to retail strategy
Identify improvements in current store operations, and leverage best practices worldwide to drive sales and KPI performance to
maximize the store performance.
Monitor CRM & data recruitment in line with Brand objectives
Be responsible for the successful opening and continuous performance of the Acqua di Parma boutique in London.
Be accountable for retail labour turnover and managing talent and team development.
Ensure and maintain great consistency in all our retail management practices: including transition to infoware for consultant
doors.
Partner with other functions to ensure all retail opportunities are maximized.
Ensure follow up on results following all retail activations, provide feedback recommendations for future activations.

Education leadership
Define and deploy education strategy in line with corporate guidelines to enhance the retail team skills and our retailers’ BCs
engagement to meet brand ambition including quarterly trainings.
Develop and ensure the implementation of motivational education support and incentives schemes to drive performance.

Annual planning
Set and agree with Head of Sales and Regional Director annual retail targets for all doors and plans to meet objectives.
Review annual targets quarterly.
Define, implement and monitor retail KPIs targets.
Drive enhancement of the P&L for each store and mobiles profitability, in line with company strategy. Review spends against
budget (e.g. staffing, capex) on a quarterly basis, addressing over/under-spends as appropriate to achieve profit targets.Monitor trading results and retail KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure performance is on track.
Develop and deliver proposals to enhance performance ‘in flight’.
Team development
Lead, coach and motivate team to deliver great results.
Develop the skills and capabilities of the team and build succession plan for long-term development.

Operational Efficiency
Work with the Key Accounts Team to increase operational effectiveness; ensuring optimum stock holding and controlled
investment, with a special focus on new launches and peak trade periods
Ensure optimum staffing levels at all times in line with agreed budgets and needs of the business
